OBJECTIVE:
Firmly establishing care for nature through the maintenance of the tourist village in Muara Duaa Village, Kadudampti District, Sukabimi Regency, West Java 

CHALLENGE:
Conduct training to educate people, in order ot increase the human resource capacity as tour guides, security, as well as making sure tourism activities are safe ; simultaneously building infrastructure for the tourist village.

SOLUTION:
Sukabumi – In maintaining the cleanliness and natural beauty, PT Smelting distributed assistance in the form of cleaning tools to the youth and youth organizations in Muara Jaya, Muara Village, Two Kadudampit Districts, Sukabumi Regency on Saturday, 18 September 2021. This activity was a vocal point for PT. Smelting, as they care for nature, seen in their CSR activities.

 

The series of environmental clean-up operations began with the cleaning of the Muara Dua river channel, and a garbage collection operation of which involved youth of Karang Taruna. In addition, this activity was attended by the Senior Manager of PT Smelting, Sapto Hadi; Specialist Business Development, Mr. Yoshiyuki Minami; Babinsa Muara two; Koramil 0709 Kodim 0607 Sukabumi City; Pelda U, Supriatman; Binmas Muara Dua Polsek Kadudampit; Sukabumi City Police, Brigadier Wasmin; Representatives of the Filantra Foundation; Head of RT/RW; and youth aware of tourism in Muara Dua Village.

“This is a series of community empowerment activities to create a tourist village with the proposal of youth organizations, so that this area becomes attractive as a tourist destination. One of the tours is papalidan or Tubing activities, we support these activities,” said Sapto, who is representing the management of PT Smelting.

“In addition, we will conduct training and strive to educate people to improve the capacity of its human resources as tour guides, security and safety staff for tourism, We will also build infrastructure for the tourist village,” he continued.

Sapto also continued by saying that the development of the infastructure will be built in a unique way, hoping it will be an icon with the local youth. However, the possibility of this is still being discussed with the support of the parties, namely the village security and local youth.
