OBJECTIVES:

PT PLN (Persero) West Java Distribution Parent Unit also supports regional tourism by providing program assistance entitled “Launching the CSR TJSL Program Assistance for Tourism Village Development and Situ Cijeruk SMEs” which is located in Sukamekar Village, Sukaraja District, Sukabumi Regency.

CHALLENGE:

Tourism destinations that offer natural beauty are always an attraction to visit. Like Sukabumi Regency, its strategic geographical location is able to present a natural panorama that spoils the eyes, making this area has many choices of natural attractions.

The tourism potential of these natural resources certainly has great potential to increase community independence based on the local economy if it is managed and developed properly.

SOLUTIONS:

On Wednesday, October 26, 2022 the launching activity was attended directly by Ir Bambang MT as Expert Staff of the Regent of Sukabumi Regency, Sigit Widarmadi SE as Head of the Sukabumi Regency Tourism Office (Kadispar), Ayunia Indira as SPV ADM GENERAL PLN UP3 Sukabumi unit, Ernalia as Village Head Sukamekar and Dadi Mulyadi as the Dept. Head of Strategic Partnership Filantra.

Expert Staff of the Regent of Sukabumi Regency, Bambang said the existence of Situ Cijeruk is a place to preserve the environment, apart from being a place to store water, it can also be accessed by agriculture and as land for community economic growth after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Sukabumi Regency Tourism Office (Kadispar Kab) Sigit Widarmadi was very grateful to be able to attend the launching of this program.

“Thank you PT PLN for the assistance provided, in the future it is hoped that this collaboration can continue so that it can boost the economy of the community and the environment is also more awake and hopefully this tourist attraction can be managed properly”, said Kadispar Sukabumi Regency.
