OBJECTIVES:
Providing forklift operator training to Indonesian Drilling Training Center (IDTC) forklift operators.

CHALLENGE:
Becoming a forklift operator is not an easy thing, because you need to understand many things about forklifts to prevent the possibility of work accidents when operating a forklift.

SOLUTIONS:

PT Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia (PDSI) held a TJSL program entitled “Forklift Operator Training”.

This program is a collaboration between PDSI and the Labor Service Certification Institute for forklift operators. The training activities are held at the Indonesia Drilling Training Center (IDTC). 

The training was held from 9th to 12nd November 2022 in Indramayu Regency, West Java. The event which was also attended by several Employee Volunteers from PT. PDSI and was opened by Mr. Danang Hermanto as the Java Area Project Manager. While the material provided in the training includes: basic K3 material and regulations, K3 material for forklift operation by K3 practitioners, practical training by K3 practitioners as well as online labor exams and practical exams.

During the four days of training, the enthusiasm of all 17 participants was aimed at successfully graduating well and satisfactorily.

This training can provide knowledge about operating regulations and various things about forklifts.

These four days have truly been an extraordinary experience which has strengthened our knowledge about the world of forklifts,” said Mr. Samsudin, one of the training participants.
