PT PERTAMINA DRILLING SERVICES INDONESIA DISTRIBUTES ASSISTANCE TO COMMUNITIES AFFECTED IN THE PERTAMINA PLUMPANG FIRE

OBJECTIVES:
PT Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia together with Filantra also provided assistance to affected communities living in evacuees due to the fire.

CHALLENGE:

A severe fire hit the Jakarta Integrated Terminal pipe, Plumpang, North Jakarta on Friday night (3/3/2023).

This incident caused dozens of people to die, dozens of people were injured, and hundreds of residents had to flee because the red flame devoured nearby houses.

SOLUTIONS:

The assistance was handed over directly by Ms. Dhaneswari Retno Wardhani as the Corsec of PT Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia at the Pertamina Plumpang depot office as dropping aid which would later be distributed to evacuees.

The assistance provided included mineral water, men’s and women’s underpants, baby necessities such as diapers, biscuits and formula milk, clothing, and eggs.
Mrs. Dhaneswari Retnowardhani also conveyed her deep condolences to the families of the victims who died and prayed for the injured victims to get well soon.

Meanwhile, the exact cause of the Pertamina Plumpang depot fire is still under investigation. Pertamina is committed to taking full responsibility for the victims of this fire incident.
