GREENING THE CAPITAL CITY, BANK DKI JOINS HANDS WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND CITY FORESTRY TO PLANT TREES

OBJECTIVES:

As a demonstration of their commitment to the environment, Bank DKI has implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Responsibility (CSR & ER) program involving tree planting on September 29, 2023.

CHALLENGE:
The ceremony took place on Jl. Boulevard Barat Raya, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. On this occasion, Bank DKI, represented by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sponsorship Department, handed over 150 Tecoma stans trees to the Jakarta Department of Parks and City Forestry as a symbol of Bank DKI’s commitment to the environment and community well-being.

SOLUTIONS:

This program activity represents a significant step in Bank DKI’s contribution to the preservation and enhancement of the urban green environment of Jakarta, especially in North Jakarta. The event was attended by Andrica Futura, Head of CSR and Sponsorship Department; Muhamad Zuhdi, Assistant to the CSR and Sponsorship Department; Septian Ega Saputra, Assistant to the CSR and Sponsorship Department of Bank DKI; and Lionita Mustika Sari, representing the Jakarta Department of Parks and City Forestry.

“We thank Bank DKI for their assistance in providing trees through the planting activity on Jl. Boulevard Barat Raya, Kelapa Gading, in collaboration with the Jakarta Department of Parks and City Forestry. Our hope is that by planting these trees, we can improve Jakarta’s air quality, and we hope that Bank DKI’s CSR program continues to have a positive impact on the environment and air quality in Jakarta,” said Lionita Mustika Sari.

This tree-planting activity reflects Bank DKI’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement. By providing Tecoma stans trees, Bank DKI strives to contribute to urban greening, improve air quality, and enhance the quality of life for the residents.
