OBJECTIVES:
Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) collaborated with Filantra in a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in the form of empowering the fishing community of Fatufia Village in Bahodopi District, Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi on (17/11).

CHALLENGE:
Morowali is a unique and rich region with a diversity of marine resources and is also a district with extraordinary potential in terms of agricultural products, the development of industrial areas as well as tourism must be supported with qualified facilities so that the potential of this district can be further developed.

SOLUTIONS:

Fishermen empowerment is carried out by providing assistance in the form of rompongs that can be used by fishermen to help catch fish in the sea.

“Morowali is a district with extraordinary potential, both in terms of agricultural products, sea, industrial area development, and tourism. For this reason, IOH is improving the network in this area so that Morowali’s potential can further develop. We also hope that Morowali fishermen can further develop their business. with the help of CSR that we do.” said the Head of Region Kalisumapa Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Prio Sasongko.

The rompong handover event was carried out by the Head of Sales Sumapa IOH to the Head of Fatufia Village, Muhammad, as a representative of local fishermen. 

This activity was also attended by VP Head of Sales IOH Sumapa Mr. Eko Yanuarianto, Head of Branch Sales IOH Palu: Emerikus Simanjorang, Nataziah PR for East Area, Mr. H. Muhammad M Ali as Head of Fatufia Village, Mr. Tatang Suprapto: Dankosal TNI AL and Commander of POLAIRUD Post and Aap Apipudin as Relationship Management Division of Filantra.

The rompong given to the residents of Fatufia Village is expected to bring positive value to the economic development of the fishing community in Morowali and its surroundings.
