Emporwering Indonesian MSME Players through the “Sharp Berdikari” Program.

CHALLANGE

The Covid-19 pandemic has hit Indonesia since the beginning of 2020, causing many MSME players to not survive due to decreased sales. Based on data from the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs, it is stated that 20% of MSMEs experience distribution problems, 19.3% experience capital difficulties. In addition, around 18.7% of business operators experienced difficulties in procuring raw materials.

SOLUTIONS:

PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia and Filantra launched the “Sharp Berdikari” program on November 25, 2020. The program empowers MSME players to develop the economic potential of the community, through:
1. Business assistance
2. Soft skills and hard skills training for business actors
3. Capital assistance and raw materials
