PLN UID WEST JAVA SUPPORTS MSMEs THROUGH PRODUCT BRANDING AND MARKETING TRAINING

OBJECTIVES:
In order to support the expansion of the potential of MSMEs, PLN through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program entitled “MSME Training Program Assistance” contributed and was present to improve the welfare of MSMEs for 50 MSME actors who were members of the Cirebon BUMN Home partners.
CHALLENGE:
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have succeeded in transforming into a new source of economic driving in Indonesia. Its role in absorbing labor is considered quite large in contributing to Indonesia’s economic growth. However, the condition of MSMEs in the post-covid-19 era still needs support to be stable.
SOLUTIONS:
This training program was carried out for two days, from 18 to 19 July 2022 at the Grage Hotel Cirebon which was attended directly by Iing Daiman, S.IP., M.Si as the Head of the Cirebon City Small and Medium Business Cooperatives Office, Agus Sukmanjaya. as Head of the Cirebon City Culture and Tourism Office, Ronny Afrianto as Manager of PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Cirebon, Asep Priatna and Pinpin as CSR TJSL PT PLN (Persero) UID West Java, and Dadi Mulyadi as Strategic Partnership Head Filantra.
The Head of the Cirebon City Culture and Tourism Office, Agus Sukmanjaya, expressed his gratitude to PLN for facilitating this training and ready to support MSMEs fostered by SOEs. Hopefully, Cirebon MSMEs can be the hosts in their own homes.
MSME players are provided with materials for strengthening branding, packaging and marketing management. Through this training program, it is hoped that business actors can increase productivity by improving skills in the production process and in sales.
“In supporting MSMEs, especially those assisted by the Cirebon BUMN House, the participants who take part in this training are expected to increase their knowledge regarding the importance of product branding, marketing management so that they can increase product sales,” said Ronny Afrianto, Manager of PLN UP3 Cirebon.
Meanwhile, R Kusdini Nurdiati as a speaker on strengthening branding and packaging said that the products of the assisted SMEs are different from the others and have local wisdom that can be sold. In the future, it is hoped that MSMEs can advance to class with branding and packaging with their marketing competitiveness being global.
