INDONESIA DEPOSIT INSURANCE CORPORATION (LPS) SUPPORTS “VAKSINASI MERDEKA” MOVEMENT

OBJECTIVE:
In order to support the national Covid-19 vaccination acceleration program, Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (IDIC) or LPS in collaboration with the Central Jakarta Police held free vaccinations.

CHALLENGE:
There are still many people who have not received the Covid 19 vaccination.

SOLUTION:
Various efforts have been made by the government to reduce the number of Covid-19 cases, one of them is vaccination program acceleration. Polda Metro Jaya launched “Vaksinasi Merdeka” Movement program on Sunday, August 1st, 2021.

This program was carried out in the DKI Jakarta area which collaborated with Polda Metro Jaya, DKI Provincial Government, Kodam Jaya, Covid-19 Task Force, and related parties. This program was held simultaneously from August 1 to 17, 2021, with a target of 3 million people being vaccinated with on Indonesian Independence Day, 17th August 2021.

IDIC fully supports “Vaksinasi Merdeka” Movement program by providing medical personnel and various necessities and equipment needed during the implementation of the independent vaccination.

On Monday, August 2, 2021, “Vaksinasi Merdeka” Movement will be held at the Tanah Abang Metro Police Precision Vaccine Outlet and LPS Peduli Bakti for the Nation at Badminton Field RW 12 Kel. Kebon Melati, Kec. Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

The independent vaccination program is a solution for the people of Jakarta, because it is held in a location close to where they live and is easily accessible. We hope more people will more aware of the importance of COVID-19 vaccination in the midst of the current pandemic situation.
