OBJECTIVES:
As a form of concern for the world of education, Indodax in collaboration with Ayobantu and Filantra held a CSR program entitled “Indodax’s Love for the Nation: Assisting School Renovations”.

CHALLENGE:

Education is very important and cannot be separated from life. Everyone has the right to get a decent and best education. Educational facilities are one of the supporting facilities for student comfort and increase enthusiasm for learning. In addition, quality education supports the progress of a nation. 

But today there are still many challenges to realizing quality education, one of which is the limited infrastructure. This was felt by the students of SD and SMP 2 Mutiara Jakarta.

The school building, which is no longer sturdy, is used alternately by elementary and junior high school students every day. From morning to noon it is used by elementary school students, while from noon to evening it is used by junior high school students. 

SOLUTIONS:

This assistance program was carried out starting on September 26 2022 until the peak of the aid ceremony on October 27 2022 which was personally attended by Oscar Darmawan as CEO of Indodax, Agnes Yuliavitriani as CEO of Ayobantu.com, Asep Nurdin as CEO of Filantra, Suprapto as Principal of SMP Mutiara 2 Jakarta , Tumi as the Principal of SD Mutiara 2 Jakarta, Agustina Kurniati as the North Jakarta Region 1 Education Office (Supervisor of SD Mutiara 2 Jakarta), the teacher council, representatives of SD and SMP Mutiara 2 Jakarta students which were carried out at SD and SMP Mutiara 2 Jakarta to be precise on Jl. Warakas Raya No. 3-4, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

Indodax CEO, Oscar Darmawan said, the CSR activities carried out were a form of the company’s empathy and social concern for the current state of education. 

“I believe that education is the foundation and main pillar of a person’s life. By building a solid foundation and pillar, students will have a quality standard of living in the future, added the CEO of indodax”.

Assistance provided in this program includes repairs to classroom facilities, laboratory rooms, UKS rooms, repair of tables and chairs as well as other facilities as well as school operational assistance and gifts for outstanding students.

“We hope that this program can continue and give birth to similar programs from other corporations for a bigger impact,” said Agnes Yuliavitriani, CEO of Ayobantu.

The program being rolled out is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially the SDGs goals. 4th, namely quality education (Quality Education).
