OBJECTIVES:
The SROI training organized by Filantra aims to provide participants with understanding and skills so they can implement the SROI method in implementing and monitoring their CSR programs. Thus, they can measure the resulting social impact and make more effective decisions in managing their CSR programs.

CHALLENGE:

SROI (Social Return on Investment) is a measurement method used to evaluate the social impact of a project, program or activity. SROI combines financial and non-financial aspects with the aim of identifying and calculating the social values ​​generated from the investments made.

SOLUTIONS:

The SROI method attempts to articulate, measure, and estimate the social value generated by an activity or investment. This social value includes the positive impacts felt by stakeholders such as employees, local communities, the environment, and society in general.

Filantra as a CSR consultant that focuses on developing sustainability programs that aim to provide social and environmental impacts has conducted SROI training which was successfully held on 05 July 2023 at Harris Hotel, Tebet, South Jakarta.

This activity was attended by Filantra’s CSR partners including PT Migas Hulu Jabar, Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, PT Indosat Tbk, PT Pembangunan Perumahan Tbk, PT Pertamina Drilling Service Indonesia, PT Tanjung Priok Port, PT Jakarta International Container Terminal, PT PLN UIT JBT, Pertamina Patra Niaga, and the University of Indonesia.

The SROI training program was hosted by a prominent speaker, Salman Nursiwan Bachtiar, S.Sos., MT. who is an expert and practitioner of Corporate Ecologist, Strategic Communications, ESG Reporting

In addition to delivering material, the SROI training also provides an opportunity for participants to directly practice calculating SROI. With a practical approach, participants are invited to understand and apply the concepts they have learned directly.

According to Edi Alfian, Director of Operations at PT Migas Hulu Jabar ONWJ, the 8 hours of participating in the CSR Training conducted by Filantra were very good and very effective in adding insight to all participants, especially the team from MUJ ONWJ to be able to apply and implement CSR activities.

In addition, Risma Wilnetri from PT PLN UIT JBT also shared her impressions regarding this CSR training which was very useful for them in implementing SROI calculations, especially how they measure the impact of TJSL or CSR that has been implemented in the company.
