EARTH CARE COMMITMENT, ADIRA’S TREE PLANTING ROADSHOW NOW ARRIVES IN MANADO

Tree planting activities are conducted at 10 business unit locations of Adira Finance in Medan, Palembang, Denpasar, Sidorajo, Samarinda, Manado, Solo, Depok, East Jakarta, and Bandung. A total of 2,620 trees (including fruit trees and strong-rooted trees) are planted nationwide.

Manado is the seventh city where tree planting takes place. The planting location in Manado is at Pesantren Alkhairaat Manado, Jl. Mapanget, Mapanget District, Manado City.

During the event, Mr. Freddy TJ Mandagi SPI M.Si, Acting Head of the Division of Control, Pollution, and Environmental Damage of the Manado City Environmental Agency, KH. Masyar Kinontoa, Leader of Ponpes Al Khairat, Ust. H Amdin Portoi S.Ag, Head of Tsanawiyah Madrasah, students, teachers of the pesantren, and Scout children were present.

Freddy TJ Mandagi SPI M.Si, Acting Head of the Division of Control, Pollution, and Environmental Damage of the Manado City Environmental Agency, stated, “The Manado City Government, through the Environmental Agency, appreciates this activity. As the party responsible for the environment in Manado City, environmental responsibility is shared among the government, the community, and the business world. Adira has actively participated in this program to preserve the environment. We are very thankful and appreciative. Our hope is that activities like this will continue to be organized by companies. It’s not just a moment; these trees must be nurtured and cared for to function well. Once again, thank you to the company for contributing to environmental management through CSR.”

This program is also an effort to address climate change and global warming by absorbing carbon produced by human activities.

Therefore, one of the efforts that can be made to reduce carbon is through the maintenance of plants or trees because these plants are capable of converting carbon dioxide (CO2) into Oxygen (O2) through the process of photosynthesis.

Yoppy Edison Tulalo, Head Of Region SSD PASIM, stated, “The tree planting program is Adira Finance’s manifestation of concern for the environment and society. This program aims to support government programs and climate control. We thank those who have supported, namely DLH, Ponpes Al Khairat, Filantra friends, and the media, so that this program can be implemented. The hope is that this CSR activity will continue and will contribute significantly to the environment and society in the future.”

In line with our brand promise to be “Everlasting Friends,” through this Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity, we want to participate in social activities, especially in the environmental and community sectors.

With the Sayang Bumiku Program (tree planting), we aim not only for ceremonial purposes but also to actively contribute to reducing carbon emissions and the greenhouse effect.
