OBJECTIVES:

To support the community and also as a form of concern, PT. PLN (Persero) West Java Distribution Parent Unit provided assistance with a program entitled “Changing the Future with Literacy”.

CHALLENGE:
The existence of a community reading garden is very strategic and is in great demand by community members. The community reading park also has its own charm and can increase people’s desire to read because it is a comfortable place to read and learn.

SOLUTIONS:

The provision of assistance was carried out on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 and was attended by Roni Aprianto as Manager of UP 3, Nurmalita as Manager of KU UP 3, Nunung Nurleha S.pd as Supervisor of Dikmas Disdikbud Kab. Kuningan, Sunaryo as Head of Cipondok Village Services, Mayasyaroh as chairman of Rumah Baca Cerdas Ceria, Dadi Mulyadi as Strategic Partnership Filantra.

With this program, the community can feel various very good impacts starting from tutoring, reading assistance, literacy synergy and can increase economic value for the community by becoming a reseller of books they produce themselves.

In addition, PLN West Java also provides several procurement facilities, infrastructure such as books, laptops, shelves, TV and many other supporting facilities.

“I am very grateful to PLN West Java which has given its mandate and CSR program to Taman Baca Cerdas Ceria so that it becomes a Literacy Village, hopefully Rumah Baca Cerdas Ceria can provide better benefits for residents of Cipondok and its surroundings,” said Mayasyaroh.
