This program aimed to improve environmental sustainability and also to improve the welfare of local residents.

Challenge

Due to limited green land in urban areas such as Jakarta makes gardening require innovation, so that the community can still grow crops even with limited land. And the hydroponic farm is one the best alternative that can be done.

Solution

PT Bank DKI launched the Hydroponic farm program for residents of KS Tubun & Rusunawa Jatirawasari, which was attended by the President Director of PT Bank DKI, Mr. Zainuddin Mappa and West Jakarta Mayor, Mr. Rustam Effendi.

Bank DKI has also held the Hydroponic farm program in Jatinegara Rusunawa since 2017, which until March 2019 has successfully harvested 15 times and that is a source of income for the residents of Jatinegara Rusunawa Kaum.
