PTC STRENGTHENS POSYANDU CADRES TO PRIORITIZE CITIZENS’s HEALTH DURING PANDEMIC

GOAL:

As a form of concern for the health of residents, the head office of PT Pertamina Training and Consulting (PTC) in the Petojo Selatan area provides strengthening to Posyandu cadres.

CHALLENGE:

Health is the most important thing that must be maintained by every individual of various ages, health is the top priority to stay healthy and awake from the threat of viruses and other health problems. As one of the gatekeepers of citizen health after the health center, Posyandu has a role for the health of citizens who are at a vulnerable age, namely toddlers and the elderly.

SOLUTION:

GRESIK – The issue of stunting in children is a serious concern in efforts to improve child welfare in Indonesia. Amid concerns about this condition, Pertamina Training and Consulting (PTC) initiated a program called Centini (Prevent Stunting Early).

This program aims to prevent stunting early on by paying special attention to children’s nutrition and health, especially through toddler posyandu.

Program activities were carried out at three points in Kemuteran Village, Gresik District, Gresik Regency, East Java on March 5-7, 2024.

From these three points, 66 beneficiaries of toddlers and 2 pregnant women received program assistance which included health checks, PMT, and classes for pregnant women and pregnant gymnastics.
