OBJECTIVES:
Children are being introduced to Japanese culture and language.

CHALLENGE:
For 30 students of SDN Pinang Ranti 09 Pagi, whose address is Jl. Kampung Pulo, Pinang Ranti, Kec. Makassar, East Jakarta City, PT Smelting sponsored a Japanese language training CSR program entitled “Issho ni Benkyou Shimashou!” (read: Let’s Study Together!)

SOLUTIONS:

On Monday, December 13th, PT Smelting hosted a Japanese language training CSR program called “Issho ni Benkyou Shimashou!” (read: Let’s Learn Together!) for 30 kids from SDN Pinang Ranti 09 Pagi, located at Jl. Kampung Pulo, Pinang Ranti, Kec. Makassar, East Jakarta.

This program was sponsored by PT Smelting to introduce children to Japanese culture and language.

Mr. Yoshiyuki Minami, PT Smelting’s Specialist Business Management, Saptohadi Prayetno, PT Smelting’s Senior Manager of General Affairs, Risty Widihasputri, PT Smelting’s Public Relations Officer, Rizaldi, M.Pd, Principal of SDN Pinang Ranti 09 Pagi, and Asep Nurdin, CEO of Filantra, also attended the event.

Brian sensei, a Japanese teacher, used a unique way to provide this instruction, namely drawing Manga and emphasizing practice, such that the pupils were really passionate and happy to participate in the learning.
