OBJECTIVES:
Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) also supports MSMEs in Kuta Mandalika in a program entitled Empowering MSMEs and Fishermen of Kuta Mandalika, Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency.

CHALLENGE:
Mandalika has developed into one of the super priority tours with its natural and cultural beauty that is maintained, coupled with the presence of the Mandalika circuit, it is a great opportunity for MSME actors.

SOLUTIONS:

The program, which has been running for seven months, was closed with the MSME Cheap Market under the guidance of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison which was held from September 24 to 25, 2022, and was attended directly by Mr. Kuta Mandalika Village.

This cheap market activity starts from 15.00 – 17.00 WITA with various activities, including selling at prices below the normal price, distributing UCan and bima TRI flyers, distributing IM3 and TRI starter cards, and handing over pre-cooperative legality from the village to the head of the cooperative group. Mrs. Baiq Martiana. 

This cheap market activity attracts the attention of many foreign tourists. During the 2 days the cheap market activities were very crowded, on the first day there were 224 visitors and it increased on the second day with 273 visitors.

Even though it lasted for two hours, the crowds of visitors made the MSME players reap significant profits ranging from more than 50 million to the income collected from all MSMEs who also peddled their sales in cheap markets for two days.

It is hoped that through the Kuta Mandalika MSME and Fisherman Empowerment Program, it can help MSMEs in increasing knowledge and developing their businesses.
