OBJECTIVES:
Support the progress of MSMEs and fishermen in Kuta Village, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara.

CHALLENGE:
It is undeniable that the natural beauty, cultural diversity, marine potential and proximity to the Mandalika International circuit are huge attractions for tourists. Therefore, the program, which is located in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone, starts from March to September 2022.

SOLUTIONS:

From 4 to 6 July 2022, the Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison team conducted a direct review to see the progress of the MSME actors and their assisted fishermen.

Although the program will end in September 2022, the developments shown by MSME actors have shown significant developments and gradually they are getting to know digital product marketing. Not only market introduction, MSME players are also assisted in registering business licenses and packaging more attractive products.

In addition to coaching for SMEs and fishermen, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison also provides business support facilities for them. For fishermen, they are assisted with accommodation for boat repairs, procurement of nets and other fishing gear. Meanwhile for the culinary business, cooking utensils and other supporting equipment are provided.

Furthermore, as explained by Indosat’s Cluster Sales Manager, Ahmad Saiful Arip, “One of the obstacles faced by SMEs today is capital. To answer this problem, his party has collaborated with the Qatar National Bank (QNB). In the future, MSME actors will be able to make capital loans easily, it can even be done through an application that has been prepared.”

“It’s time for local business actors to clean up and be able to compete,” he hoped.
