OBJECTIVES:
Filantra is collaborating with 5 (five) Hitachi Group companies in Indonesia, namely: PT Hitachi Asia Indonesia, PT Hitachi Channel Solutions Indonesia, PT Hitachi Astemo Bekasi Auto Part, PT Hitachi High Tech Indonesia and PT Standing Matahari Logistik in the Cianjur Earthquake Affected School Renovation program which was held at SDN degree 2 Cianjur, Jln. Stekmal No. 3 Kel. Pamoyanan, Cianjur District, Kab. Cianjur.

CHALLENGE:

After the earthquake on November 21 2022 devastated Cianjur, the government and people are still struggling for recovery where thousands of houses and other public facilities were damaged.

Schools are one of the public facilities that were also affected by the earthquake. Around 700 school units have begun to be renovated one by one by the local government in collaboration with the Education Office and the PUPR Ministry.

It is hoped that the damaged schools can be renovated and completed within 3 months so that they can be used again for teaching and learning activities (KBM). During the repair period hundreds of schools were forced to hold teaching and learning activities (KBM) in emergency tents.

SOLUTIONS:
School facilities that are damaged or inadequate can interfere with the optimization of teaching and learning activities, reduce the level of comfort while studying, and it is feared that it will reduce the quality of educational development.

Filantra is collaborating with 5 (five) Hitachi Group companies in Indonesia, namely: PT Hitachi Asia Indonesia, PT Hitachi Channel Solutions Indonesia, PT Hitachi Astemo Bekasi Auto Part, PT Hitachi High Tech Indonesia and PT Standing Matahari Logistik in the Cianjur Earthquake Affected School Renovation program which was held at SDN degree 2 Cianjur, Jln. Stekmal No. 3 Kel. Pamoyanan, Cianjur District, Kab. Cianjur.

The renovation took place from 21 February 2023 to 20 March 2023. The inauguration ceremony for the assistance was held on 20 March 2023 attended by the President Director and representatives from the five Hitachi companies, Mr. Asep Nurdin as CEO of Filantra, Mrs. Siti Nurhayati, Spd., MM. Principal of SDN Cianjur 2nd Degree, Ms. Hj Lalas Indriyani Superintendent of SDN Cianjur 2nd Degree, Drs. Ridwan Barokah, S.Pd.MM Kordik Cianjur, Deden Kuswandi, SH. Head of the Pamoyanan Village Head, Student Representative of SDN Degree 2 Cianjur.

The Cianjur Earthquake Affected School Renovation Program is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially the 4th SDGs, namely Quality Education.

Through this program, it is hoped that in addition to helping the people and government of Cianjur get back on their feet, it is also an effort to make the quality of education in Indonesia, especially in Cianjur, better and more developed.
