CAKAP.ORG PROVIDES TEACHING SESSIONS AT SD JUARA SEMARANG

GOAL:
Introducing a foreign language, will increase their vocabulary, understand the intraintricacies of other languages and pronunciation, increase their self-confidence, as well as increase their ability in language in order to partake in more language classes.

CHALLENGE:
The English language is an international langauge, of which is widely used throughout the world. By inviting children to learn English, it will be beneficial as it exercises insight and knowledge for them through writing and speaking. Training children to be confident in foreign languages will definetely aid them in the future.

SOLUTION:

A continuation of the collaboration between the Filantra Foundation and the free English language course institution that is Cakap.org ; provided that this time the Cakap.org began learning English with the students of SD Juara Semarang as per a previously scheduled time.

The English learning with Cakap.org is organised and scheduled every Tuesday and Thursday; the sessions themselves have been help for three weeks with Miss Elifra. The students are always enthusiastic, a result of the engaging teaching methods that encourage students to interact.

On Thursday’s meeting, of which took place on October 7 2021, Miss Ellfria invited and urged the children specify what exactly their favourite room at home is. translating it to English and simultaneously spelling it out. This increases the children’s confidence in the English language.

Najwan Kabir, or more commonly called Abang Awan, was one of the participants in the Cakap Class from SD Juara Semarang. He stated that he was both excited and happy with each and every class, even completing assignments from miss Ellfira with enthusiasm.

“ As a parent, I am extremely grateful that there is a speaking class. For me, Miss Elfira is very helpful. Abang Awan is excited to continue speaking English. “ said Ibu Waniah, Abang Awan’s mother, as she was accompanying her child to join the Cakap class.
