OBJECTIVES:
Filantra and Kitabisa.com have played a role in saving the earth through the Can Plant Trees program by planting 300 trees.

CHALLENGE:
An environmental issue that is still a concern is global warming which causes the earth’s temperature to increase.

This is caused by the large amount of carbon dioxide gas (CO2) produced by activities on earth.

One way to reduce carbon emission footprints and minimize the impact of global warming is by planting trees. In terms of duration and effectiveness, tree planting is considered the most suitable for absorbing carbon emissions.

SOLUTIONS:

This program was carried out on 23-24 February 2023 in Tenjolaya Village, Kasomalang District, Subang Regency as a form of support for the Offsetting Carbon Footprint movement by inviting the community to plant trees.

The big impact of planting 1 tree can absorb 25 to 40 kg of carbon dioxide (CO2) or the equivalent of reducing pollution for a 100 km car trip.

It is hoped that through this program it will become a momentum to continue to play an active role in protecting the earth, especially protecting nature and the environment for a better life for future generations.
