The incident was caused by the high intensity of rainfall causing the Lake Tondano watershed (DAS) to overflow.

Through the Manado Flood Disaster Emergency Response Car Clinic Program, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) together with Filantra also distributed assistance in the form of ready-to-eat food and Indosat and 3 SP cards in six affected villages.

Hydrometeorological disasters such as floods, landslides, and tornadoes that often occur during the rainy season are a call for all of us to increase our vigilance if this happens at any time.
