The uniqueness of the Japanese language and culture is of particular interest for people to know and learn about it. The noble values that are still preserved add to the attractive side of Japan, even though Japan is a developed country.
Because of its unique culture, Japan always attracts attention and even its culture is famous so that it is widely studied around the world.
SOLUTIONS:
This Japanese language training program for elementary school students was held at SDN Sumur Batu 01 Pagi, Central Jakarta on Thursday, September 15, 2022. Attended directly by Mr. Yoshiyuki Minami as Specialist Business Management of PT Smelting, Risty Widihasputri as Public Relations Officer of PT Smelting, Asep Nurdin as CEO of Filantra, Arinil Hayatun Nufus as RM Filantra, Dwi Endah as Principal of SDN Sumur Batu 01 Pagi, Central Jakarta, Sensei Yayah Kudsiyah as Japanese Teacher and teachers and students of SDN Sumur Batu 01 Pagi, Central Jakarta.
This September, the issho ni benkyo shimashou program has been running for the third time smoothly and also fun.
Although Japanese is a new foreign language for the children of SDN Sumur Batu 01 Pagi, they are very attentive and enthusiastic when given the material. The learning process is made as fun as possible by involving company employees and teachers in the learning process.
The material presented included greetings, numbers, and the introduction of Hiragana letters. In addition, there is a video screening where students are introduced to Japanese culture (about dressing, eating, bathing, etc.).
The students were also very excited from the beginning of the activity until it closed with the quiz because there were many door prizes waiting. In addition, each student also received participant gifts.
“This is my first time learning Japanese and it’s very fun, especially since the culture is quite unique,” said Kheira, a student of SDN Sumur Batu 01 Pagi, Central Jakarta.
Through this program, it is expected to increase students’ knowledge of Japanese language and culture, as well as increase students’ skills in using the Japanese language.
