PARTNERS:
PT BANK DKI

INDUSTRY:

OBJECTIVES:

In line with this, PT Bank DKI also contributes to the environment as well as community empowerment by initiating the Jakarta Hydroponic Cooperative (Jakonik) program.

CHALLENGE:
Utilization of vacant land into productive land in densely populated areas to be used as hydroponic gardens is one solution to the limitations of green space, one of which is in the DKI Jakarta area.

SOLUTIONS:

On Thursday, September 8, 2022 PT Bank DKI again provided training to Jakonik members which was held at the Jatinegara Kaum Flat.

A total of 22 people representing the Pulo Gebang Flats, Jatinegara Kaum Flats, South Cipinang Besar Flats, KS Tubun Flats and Pondok Bambu Flats also attended the training.

In this training, Jakonik members were provided with material related to cooperatives. One of the materials presented was about how to manage a cooperative into a forum to improve the members’ economy. In addition, the speaker explained the importance of an organizational structure that has its respective duties and roles in a cooperative structure.

Through this program and training, it is hoped that the vegetables planted by Jakonik members besides being able to be used for local residents in the future, hopefully can develop into a large-scale business so that the vegetable needs in the DKI Jakarta area can be met.

“I say thank you very much to PT Bank DKI who continues to accompany us so that we can develop by providing facilities in the form of training, this is a good start for me and other Jakonik members to grow together to be better,” said Supardi, one of the participants. training.
