In this regard, on Friday, April 8, 2022, PT Transport Jakarta together with Filantra launched a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program entitled “English Literacy Village” at Balai RW.05 Kel. Kebon Pala, Makassar, East Jakarta.

The English Literacy Village Program is an empowerment program for marginalized communities based on capacity building in English.

The participants of this program are elementary school students in grades 3 to 6. On the occasion, Betriani Situmorang as Plt. Head of the Corporate Secretary and Public Relations Division of PT Transport Jakarta, Faisal Rizal M. Kes as Head of Kebon Pala Village, Hartono as Head of RW 05 Kebon Pala and Asep Nurdin as CEO of Filantra. This program will run until December 2022. The enthusiasm of the participants was unstoppable during the program, the children participated in the learning cheerfully while waiting for the time to break their fast. Kebon Pala Village Head, Faisal Rizal M. Kes said, “I would like to thank PT Transjakarta for sharing the joy with the children, especially in this program. Thank God the children in Kebon nutmeg are now starting to learn English. Thank you again, always success for Transjakarta”.
