OBJECTIVES:
People can become more environmentally conscious by properly handling garbage. And it has the potential to generate a lot of money for the community.

CHALLENGE:
Residents are taught how to convert organic and non-organic trash into rupiah value, including waste management and residential waste maggot farming. Meanwhile, plastic trash is converted into fuel, including diesel, premium, and kerosene.

SOLUTIONS:

On Thursday (16/12), PT Smelting’s “Smelting Peduli” program in Cidadap Village, Muaradua Village, Kadudampit District, demonstrates its concern for the environment through the “Balik Ka Bumi Pokdarwis Trash Management House.”

For waste management houses and others, aid was supplied in the shape of three-wheeled motorcycles, distillation machines, and trash-breaking devices.

Residents are also taught how to transform organic and non-organic garbage into rupiah value, such as trash management and maggot cultivation for household waste, as part of this activity. Meanwhile, plastic trash is converted into fuel, including diesel, premium, and kerosene.

It is believed that through participating in the Waste Management House program, people will become more environmentally conscious by appropriately processing waste. And it has the potential to generate a lot of money for the community.

“Looking at the structure, it appears to be quite promising. Because all of that garbage will be sorted for grinding and then transformed into fuel in the future. “Of course, this is really beneficial to our citizens,” Mr. Muhammad Suparman stated.
